Pokemon and punk bands drowned in piled cans of pure caffeine.
She's into those kinda boys, who cut their hair and make no noise,
the kind that look like robots with their eyes glued to a football field.

She's just staring at me as I play my guitar,
on a yard-long bench on Main St,
and it's gnarly.

Due to my natural happiness, all the guys think I'm a mess,
they all think it's strange just 'cause lust never fascinated me.
They play their sports, I play guitar, they drink their beer and smoke cigars.
I spend late nights with my synth, trying to find not-as-common riffs.

They're all staring at me as I play my guitar,
on a yard-long bench on Main St,
and it's awesome.

Trying to fulfill your dreams, is not as hard as they make it seem,
they told me, "get a 9 to 5, leave the guitar and drums behind."
But their lectures don't phase my ears, they don't get the whole idea,
that in my mind, I've already succeeded at living my dreams.

In this world there's just so much people that will be disgusted,
if they ever caught a glimpse of talent.
